KSU "East Kazakhstan regional specialized children and youth sports school of Olympic reserve in athletics" created by the Decision of East Kazakhstan regional akimat on November 13, 2013, No. 300, approved by the order of "Department of Finance of the East Kazakhstan region" dated December 5, 2013 № P-1028 (K).

The budget contains school athletics center "Olga Rypakova" with international certificate of the second category.

The arena is equipped with changing rooms, showers, offices for the school administration, doctor, masseur, methodical and coaching rooms.

The object, purpose and purpose of the Institution is:

involvement of children and young men in systematic sports, education of physical, moral and strong – willed qualities, improvement of sports skills, training of candidates for national teams; identify in the process of systematic training capable children and young men to attract them to specialized sports in sports schools; providing training of sports reserves, candidates for national teams of the city, region, Republic and education of high-class athletes.

The institution creates conditions for regular year-round classes, organizes a system for selecting capable students, the educational and training process, and systematically conducts sports competitions at the regional, national and international levels.

The school has 19 coaches-teachers in the Department of athletics with higher physical education and secondary special physical education, and on September 1, 2020, 317 athletes.

Sports facilities of the sports school:

The track and field center is a modern sports facility with a track and field arena for indoor track and field competitions made with Regupol AG coating, which meets all international requirements of the IAAF.
The center has regional significance as a complex facility for organizing competitive and training processes at the local and international levels.
